While it is common that most people derive their principles of tithing from Deuteronomy where God commands that His people should leave 1/10 of their field for those who pass by the field to pick from. We see in Mark’s account of the gospel where he gives us an insight to Jesus observing a widow who was giving her tithe:

“And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched the people putting money into the offering box. Many rich people put in large sums. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which make a penny. And he called his disciples to him and said to them, ‘Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.’”

Revival Project strives to not give from our abundance, but to give away the abundance we have and to trust in God’s provision. For I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken nor His children begging for bread. For He is a good Father, and when the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all trouble.

Revival Projects goal is to be a 90/10 movement
